An oddity with the satellite view

I've today taken delivery of my Mavic Mini, and am anxious to set it up. I have a phone, (A Nokia 8)reserved for use with my Mavic Pro, and decided to use that. All went as well as normal, except that there did not appear to be an option to switch the map view to satellite view. Without the satellite view, the option is not of much use, where there are no roads to display, leaving only the track and the way home as navigation aids. My ordinary use phone is also a Nokia 8 (Don't ask). I installed the Fly app on that, and lo, and behold that setup had the satellite view in all it's glory. Has anyone any idea, why the one has and the other doesn't?

The DJI Go 4 app, on the dedicated phone does show the satellite view in all it's glory, BTW

Make sure Fly under app permissions is set to allow access to "location".

It also needs internet at least long enough to populate the map.
