The landing was off center and it made for a rocky dissent. The round landing pad is more stable in flight than the first one below. Enjoy!

4 sure. The wind was about 9mph and when the Mini gets close it pushes the Q500. Even in C mode. It was stressful.

We do a lot of remote landing and take off so this is very cool.

You might want to consider doing a Remote take off once the landing Pad Drone has found it center of gravity and than take off in the air. Once you nail that down you can mark that on the landing Pad.

Next rather than coming straight down into an auto landing try just flying at an angle and landing it on the pad, and shutting down the engines after the landing, This is something we do on the water a great deal. Land first not using the auto landing.

Eventfully you can make the landing pad much much smaller and easier for the Take off drone to negotiate .
