I am still running firmware v01.00.0500 on my Mavic Air. At some point I'd like to update to the newest firmware as I believe there are some bug fixes which would be nice to have.
My problem is that I don't want the geofencing database to be updated, as it would introduce Geo 2.0 where I'm located (Switzerland). Geo 2.0 brings mostly disadvantages in my area, as DJI's geofencing is overzealous and prevents you from taking off in areas where it wouldn't even be prohibited according to Swiss law (crazy!).
Is there a way to update the Mavic Air firmware, as well as DJI Go, without updating the geofencing the database? Or do those always go hand in hand?
I've tried researching this a bit but found no conclusive answers.
