Anyone else having a problem with updates on the DJI rc2 taking forever?

I have reasonably fast internet, but updates on the DJI rc2 take forever.

This last one took an extra long time -- I thought it was stuck, but about 20 minutes later it finished the last few percent.

Updates from DJI tend to take a while. Possibly a function of their available bandwidth and considering the potential thousands of simultaneous update requests

It took upwards of an hour and a half, and I was planning on flying that night, after it was done updating the fly app, I also needed to update my mini 4 pro (which took around half an hour), so by the time it was done doing that it was too dark for what I was planning on doing.

I've noticed getting the controller closer to my wifi router helps the download speed. It makes me think the wifi radio in the controller isn't the greatest.

Why not just use the assistant software, it may be faster that way

I just purchased my Mini 4 Pro and Goggles and the RC-N2 RC and I can't seem to connect or even see a view though the drones camera. I've been flying since my DJI Phantom 1. My last drone was the Mini 1. Am I doing something wrong? Am I supposed to be updating drone, RC and Goggles right out of the box? I'm using my Ipad pro for my screen. You would think at least the Ipad would ask to update. Weird.
