Anyone have their mavic "lurch" or take off unexpectedly

had the drone take off (was hovering, and took off forward) ... never had this happen before. I am not even sure if I hit the stick and if I did it was only slightly ... appears the obstacle avoidance was off or shut down temporarily as well. Strange.
 
I had a similar experience when taking off near a bridge. After auto takeoff, it flew 50 feet away and then hovered. I flew it back and landed immediately. scary moment... I probably have a least 50 flights by now. That only happened once.
 
Possibly compass issues if the place you took off from has lots of metallic structure.

Agree 100%. On my second flight I had the compass veer the mavic from the home spot due to my house having a metal roof. It tried to land on the roof. Luckily, manual take over and everything was just fine. I avoid metal at all cost now.
