APAS in M2ED, available?

I want to turn on APAS in M2ED.
Is it possible?

"Kindly note that APAS is currently not supported on the Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual Edition, it is only available on the Zoom Edition."

i really fail to comprehend what does APAS got to do with the type of a gimbal mounted on the same body...

As per my research into the question, I believe it will avoid obstacles when returning to home. However, the side sensors do not work unless you are in a tripod mode. So you have some security there, but definitely not as much as normal M2. But even then, normal mavic apas works for active track and return to home and guess what- M2ED has no active track....
