Could this app be used to identify interference that influences drones?

Sorry, but no.
- the app is local to where your phone is, not where the drone is
- the app is about magnetic interference, not about 2.4Ghz/5.8Ghz radio interference that can mess with rc control

If you worry about magnetic interference, just wave your radio+phone in a big '8' shape several times before flying, in order to calibrate the compass.
Still, it can be off, as you often see on the fly app direction indicator, this does not degrade any flying, range, rth capability, as they are driven by GPS sensor, which is not magnetic.
