Are you getting any Christmas goody’s for your drone 2018

But a Mavic Pro or Mavic pro Platinum is still a great choice from a price and technical point of view. It is in the nature of things that newer models are usually (technically) more advanced, but the software often limps behind them.

In short:
Sorry, but for me, the M2P is currently a big and expensive bumblebee with few improvements. I tend to buy a M1P Platinum, because it can use all existing accessories of the M1P. And the saved money goes ... And the saved money goes ... well, you know where to go (see my wishes 2019).

Two brisk bees, or rather a big bumblebee?
There are still 353 days until ... NO, I will not be able to wait that long ...

totally agree mnis i puchased my mavic platinum when the new mav 2 came out got a brilliant deal with the flymore combo because i felt that most of, if not all the bugs had been ironed out and i did not want the bother of the constant updates, that are a feature of new releases from dji. so far i am very happy with the mav it does everything i need from a UAV i prefere to fly the drone myself so i think all the avoidence softwear is just making the mav more complicated and is really not a great deal of use

MP2 for Christmas!!!! Very surprised as I normally get the usual sweat shirts, jeans, shirts ties and other needed miscellaneous. This year I got all that and the MP2 with all the aftermarket gadgets like filters, case, extra batteries with chargers and a few other things. She definitely went all out this year.

Another spoilt boy at Christmas then;) just like some of us here;);)

Great though!

I think you acted very wise. I could not wait long then and bought my Mavic immediately after the release. I wish I had often had your patience before I bought new things.

But there is nothing to regret. For almost two years after the purchase, the Mavic is still the best choice for me.

Also I do not need most of the new features and fly safely without obstacle detection. As far as I remember back then, "out of the box" already worked, the precise landing. I think it's not good, the way DJI brings new features into new firmware. I had expected a mature M2x product at first appearance. In short, this old Mavic meets my expectations today.

In a few words one can say: do not change anything as long as you are satisfied. And always think very well what you really need to be satisfied ...

I was once in England as a young soldier. We visited a harbor for a few days ... Falmouth (Cornwall), and I was thrilled with "pennycomequick" and would like to go sometime in a vacation with my wife. Actually, I have no idea if it's a good port city, but I met so many friendly people there. Maybe a renewed visit will give me a little more satisfaction.

I could even imagine visiting the "old man Mavic" to do some Mavic rounds with him. Chattering may be a bit difficult for me, but I love deeds without much talk. Nature, a nice meal and something good to drink, that's all it takes ...

I’m up from my sleeping pit, wonna get my 1st sun rise photos but it’s not looking good for me at the mo:mad: very cloudy. Keeping a very close 33182007-B6F0-4702-AC66-76E38F2515FA.jpeg on it. Charged batteries, Controller, CS last night so ready to go.

Oh I sometimes hate Mother Nature when she does this to me, but my wish could come true ;) if not I’ll go for 2nd best and see if I can get “sun set” photosThumbswayup

I’ll keep you posted;)

At 8:44 clock here is sunrise, but it has been wet and foggy for hours, there is nothing with the third hobby (DJI).

I'll stay home and do something with the first hobby (3D printing). But the second hobby (electronics) is very tasty for me, and I just can not decide at the moment ...

For completeness, the fourth hobby is anything that has nothing to do with the hobbies 1 to 3 ... LoL ...

Maybe today I will do something I never did before, bake a bread ... :-)

Really cloudy here, no flying for me this morning:( my next project is.....
Trying to take 5 bracketed photos And see if if can stitch them together in Lr. I’ve had @Slim.slamma helping me out but now I just need to put it into practice. Will it work, I’ll find out shortly;)
