When I first saw this video in my news feed, that’s exactly what I was thinking! You can almost feel the pilot’s reaction when those first two cables snapped and sent 900 tons back to the earth.

Tragic. There’s already a movement to rebuild.

Hope he’s not in too much trouble for bringing down the observatory. ? must a been too much propwash. What incredible timing though. Oh ?, whad i do now? Scary thought.

(Removed by moderator) All he had to do was fly backwards and up and he would have captured the whole thing crashing down and had a epic piece of footage
