You have some great footage there. The biggest problem I have with the Magic though, and I'm not sure if there's a cure, is the juddering. It's evident in your video, particularly on the white ship in the foreground, at around 2.09. It seems to manifest itself mostly when hard outlines are in shot. I took some footage from within a forest last week, and the effect when panning around the tree trunks, however slowly, was quite displeasing. I need to have a play around with different frame rates, and resolutions, because I'm struggling to find a sweet spot as yet.
Well spotted. Not many people see that however the stuttering was actually an error in the render where it messed up the motion. The raw file is butter smooth. Unfortunate I had posted the video online and had traction which was too late to fix and change. I think what you're actually seeing in your footage is the lack of motion blur. That can be solved with an ND filter or Nd/pl hybrid filter [emoji108][emoji41]
