So, you have posted this once again or on other groups or forums. It is the standard aircraft navigational lighting sequence. Most of us know this.
I believe navigation for UAS/V aircraft should remain as is. Red in front and Green in back. It is the UAS/V standard for now. Your like a captain of his boat, must know his port and starboard. Or are you just using it for orientation?
A cool mod if It helps.

*You're firstly. Secondly forums can do without the unneeded look at me paragraph you first wrote "Drone Master" yes I use it for orientation, and the FAA leaves it is as optional so i see no reason for the negativity and personal opinions. Thanks.

Please! I meant no disrespect. Was just stating facts. Yes it is optional.
Cool mod non the less.

Personally, I have been using strobe navigation at night. And I use that navigational color sequence. I place them on either side of the aircraft.
You can get them here. They work awesome!
Strobe Lights : Ready Made RC LLC, The Leader in All Things FPV, RC, and Beyond
If they are out of stock, just sign up for email on when they have back in stock.
They seem to be a hot item here in the US.

I'm confused by what you mean. There's no such thing as strobe navigation lights... there is a flashing anti collision light on top and on bottom mid point of aircraft if that's what you mean.

Yes, on man aircraft, but we're talking about simple UAV aircraft here.
(Unmanned). If you noticed the link I provided, you can customize the lighting by adding the strobes to help you and conform to FAA standards.
It's required if you are 107 certified and do night flights.

Really? I've never heard of that and I'm 14 CFR part 107 cert'd. 107.29 says nobody may flight at night without waiver and the UAS must have "appropriate" anti collision lighting. Which is one on top and on bottom red strobes visible at least 3 statute miles. No drone will be able to produce light that would be visible for 3 statute miles lol.

I can see my aircraft up to 3 miles with them depending on weather conditions.
They work for me. I would still give them a try.

If it actually is the same seller they don't have any in stock. And at least I can return them via amazon for false advertising then I would be able to on that website.

Purely out of idle curiosity, are you allowed to fly 3 miles away in the US? I know that lots of people do but is it permissible?

Hey @codybecker , just wanted to follow up on the first reply, how did you do that!!! lol, I can't seem to find what you did to make the lights port/starboard lots of other strobes and nav options mentioned. This would definitely help in overcast conditions to correctly identify orientation.

Live in Toronto and man I don't remember what the sun looks like these days.
