Asus ROG 5 Gaming Phone works with Moverio BT-40 Glasses

Hi Sapsan, I’m almost convinced it’s the ROG 6. There must be either a hardware or software difference between the ROG 6 and the ROG 5. Also I can’t get the moverio app to work on the ROG 6. It loads but won’t run correctly. It doesn’t bring up the menu to changethe brightness for instance.

BTW - didn’t you say you had a ROG 6?

Hi Guys,

I have an update for you. I finally got an Asus ROG 5 with the Global ROM on Ebay (Not the 5s and not the Tencent ROM version) and it works great with the DJI Controller and my BT-40 glasses.

I also finished my testing of the Asus ROG 6 before I sent it back for a refund. And this is what I discovered. The Asus ROG 6 (I had the Tencent ROM version) does not work with the DJI Controller and the Epson Moverio glasses. I am convinced the USB ports on the ROG 6 (for sure) and the ROG 5s (possibly) have hardware and/or firmware differentness that are incompatible with the DJI Controller and the Epson Moverio Glasses.

I may have access to another Asus ROG 5 if you are interested, let me know.
