Attaching videos to my threads

I've been flying my platinum pro for over a year now and recently tried to attract a video to my thread . I'm using a Samsung galaxy 7 and keep getting blocked and a notice saying need file extension. Need some help , I'm not techy but can follow instructions.

You have to place it in YouTube or Vimeo and then place that link in your post.

Got you . Sound simple enough. I assume the file size doesn't matter ?
