I find hand catching drone for landing is much easier with this off even if the avoidance sensors are left on. I can do more precise manual landing on preferred landing spot like on the center of a landing pad.

I hand launch and hand catch for landing for phantom and spark. It gives me no excuse for buying leg extensions or landing gear accessories.
