I left a battery out in the field.. Ugh.. what a waste of money... I know better and normally I put the dead batteries in the case as soon as I switch but for whatever reason I did not this time... Wont make that mistake again..

Yeah, use flight records in the app to find where you took off/landed from for the flight(s) involved. I’m a bit cavalier with my drone landings and have used the gps data a few times to locate the actual drone. It’s been an excellent feature.

I put fresh batteries “face up” (connectors to the top) and spent batteries “face down.” Of course you know if you try to use the wrong one, but this lets me know when I get home which need to be charged etc.

Also, before LiPo batteries I used to charge right when I got home (other types of devices), but I think with LiPo, it’s better to charge before going out and store uncharged...
