Today while flying my Mini 2, there was a pop up on the screen, kinda yellow orb, translucent in color.
Trying to describe it as: a circle with an arrow point at its base approx., 7 oclock.
I just now forgot what was in the center of the orb.........sorry.
Touching the icon on the screen had no effect.
I don't know when it disappeared as I was more concerned with drone in flight.
Any help with my flighty description is appreciated.

I think this appears when I touch the screen...and I know that I saw an explanation of it in a video...but at that time I was completely overwhelmed by all the different data...I am referring to the yellow thing that is a bit like a circle, but elongated at bits bottom left...with what looks...

You probably tapped on the screen and caused the camera to adjust exposure on that area.

At the risk of being pedantic, you'd be more knowledgable, but not smarter.

I don't know that one, as I've never used it. Someone in that thread explains it, or at least more than I could do.

This thread has links to tutorial videos. Apparently the feature is only described in videos rather than the written manual.

DJI Fly App: FYI: Undocumented (I think) Photo Mode Small Area Metering Area Selection

I encountered this metering selection mechanization a couple of days ago. I am using the RC-N1 controller with an iPhone and the DJI Fly app. All SW and FW is current. (Mavic 3, non-Cine.) If you guys already know this, please be gentle. 🤣 But I see no reference to it anywhere in the user...

Tap location on screen to change exposure. Lighten dark areas, darken bright sky, etc. Circle appears momentarily and you will see the change on screen. Quick and simple
