Battery charge problem

Hi everyone.

I just bought a new battery. Brand new sealed in box.
When i put it on the charger LED1 blinks 16 times, pauses and then repeats without charging.
If i put it on the drone and turn it on LED4 stays lit and doesn't power up the mavic.

I can't find anything relating to this.

Anyone seen those before?

How long did you leave it plugged into the charger?

A couple of hours.

Send it back but first try to update the FW with Assistant 2..

I have the same problem but it doesn’t even have enough power to boot up the mavic, it’s out of warranty any ideas?

Sadly it doesn't power up the mavic so can't update the firmware on it.

If you just bought it, I'd probably just return it - much less headache than dealing with DJI support.

How long did you leave it plugged into the charger?

A couple of hours.

That's long enough to bring it out of hibernation, if that was the problem. I would return it.

I had a dead battery once and it did exactly what yours is doing.
