If it was me, I will not be concerned about discharging for storage. Of course I will do a discharge if Im not gonna fly for a few months.
With the batteries always fully charged, I will be able to fly anytime anywhere without preparation.
For the Li-pos in the Mavic Pro and Air, you will need to charge them before your flight if you dont fly frequently, which is a chore.
You dont get the always ready condition in Li-pos over Li-ions.
