Got my new Mavric Pro on Friday & have had couple of beginner flights & all going well.
Issue i have is the Controller battery is discharging very quickly & on 2nd flight when i was connecting my Samsing Gallaxy S7 phone to the controller i noticed the phone began charging & therefore think its charging from the controller battery which was fully charged. Anyone know how to stop this from happening.
Thanks

Good question you have... I would suggest always ensuring your phone is fully charged before flying. Effectively the controller battery should last 3 to 4 flights. Before u need to recharge. When im out in the field i keep a 16000Mah battery bank with me to recaharge the controller as i go along. Luckily it doesnt take long to recharge

A while ago there was a suggestion to disable the S7s fast cable charging option in battery settings. I tried it and did not really notice a difference.
Like you Oingo B, my procedure is to start with a full battery. Disable all other running apps. Disable auto brightness and lock it at Full bright for daylight viewing. Three batteries flying and S7 edge is down to about 45%. While not ideal I am happy to live with this as I don't need to fly more than that in one hit.

Are you running Nougat?

No. Just got the update prompt yesterday. Not game to update from Marshmallow as everything has been solid for me on the s7 for months. It aint broke...

then you might still need to enable the USB mode manually. MTP or MSC.
Also enabling USB debugging might help. Cant comment further as ive a different phone
