I have 2 batteries that have over 100 charges and wondering, if anyone can answer or comment, what’s is the max amount of charges anyone considers too many and buys replacements? I’ve noticed one swells after use and the other is fine after use.

It's inadvisable to use batteries that swell.
The expected lifespan is in the multiple hundreds. BUT, much depends on how the batteries are used and stored.
