Battery power issue

My dji smart battery won't turn off. When I put it in the drone, the drone turns on but I can't turn it off in the normal way. Do I just wait for it to drain or is there a faster way? Anyone else have this issue?

These 2 green lights stay on and blink once every 15 secs or so.

I don't want to offend you, but are you clicking it twice to turn it off & sort of holding it down on the second click? I can't tell from your post if this is a brand new drone.

This looks like a battery firmware upgrade issue, put the battery back on the charger and recharge the battery for a couple of hours, the lights on the battery won't change.
Don't let the battery run out of power otherwise you can't rescue it.

Then connect the AC to your PC, turn it on and then open the DJI Assistant 2 app, when the AC is connected to the app, you should see a battery firmware incompatible message which then you can reset the battery firmware and get it back to normal
