Battery question

Hello

I'm considering getting a third battery for my mavic pro, but the case I have only carries two (on the sides), so the third one would have to be placed in the mavic (connected to the mavic, obviously off... )

Is it safe? I sometimes leave it "alone" for a week or two, could it be dangerous (I heard sometimes they self-discharge...)?

Safe. I always have one installed. Yes, they eventually self discharge, but that is abuilt in, user defined function.

As others have posted, it is OK to keep in the Mavic, I do it all the time, self discharge is very slow and gentle and does not affect the aircraft.
