Battery Storage Discharge Issues

I have 6 x DJI 249g batteries and 2 x DJI charging hubs. I charge my batteries 100% and put them away in my pack. Both times I have gone to use my drone the batteries are partially discharged in both charger hubs. I have had the charging hubs and batteries for 6 weeks so we aren't talking about long term storage. What is causing the batteries to discharge in such a short time in the charging hub? This latest experience was today and I used the drone last week.

The Batteries have a BMS inside This chip starts discharging the Batteries from 100 if they are not used You should not be storing those Batteries at 100 you will kill them.

There is a setting in the fly app which does an adjustment to the number of days before discharge starts, but as said before, you shouldn’t store batteries fully charged if you want them to last.

Two facts we all learn from being DJI Drone Owners:
1. DJI makes some of the most advanced best Drones on the Market!
2. DJI Makes The WORST Drone battery chargers in the world and cant even offer a decent solution for their own products.
Get yourself a good charger a hanatora is nice!
get a charger with a storage option. This will allow you to charge to 60% for storage. Your Batterys will thank you with a long life!
Having said this if any member out there needs an OEM charger for a mavic 1, air 2S, or FPV, I got them collecting dust in a box. you gotta pay shipping tho. PM me don't ask here.

Concur. Great drones... crap chargers. Waiting for that serial charger brick to do it's job is an exercise in frustration. The only thing marginally slower is a glacier.

As stated: leave a fully charged battery unused for a week and it'll have dropped at least 5% - perfectly normal and exactly as per design.

This setting isn’t available on the Mini 3/4. The batteries have fixed storage logic.

The battery backs off to 95% after a few days. If they remain inactive for a week or two it backs off to the normal long term storage voltage. I don’t remember the exact timeframes but this is the jist.
