Beeps Instead of Power Off

After landing this evening, I pressed the power button on the drone to turn it off, and it gave 3 beeps instead. The Fly app said RC link lost.

Did I accidentally put the drone into pairing mode?

What's the best way to avoid that?

Press quickly, then press and hold. It's never failed to turn on/off properly if I do that.

Aha! So double tap and hold is for power, and if I don't do the double tap it goes into pairing mode. Got it now. Thanks.

Yes, you need to turn it off the same way you turn it on, by short pressing and then holding.
