I struggled a lot with pictures moving slowly and not in good resolution compared to the High quality of the mavic. Things get old, same as me... and need to be changed. So what lap top do you suggest, and specs. NOTE. that will be a laptop used only for editing Mavic stuff, so no point to spend thousand of £££ for just one purpose.

If you are going to be editing in 4K you will need a laptop with plenty of ram suggest one with 16GB and one with a decent decent graphics card, you have not said if you want a windows based laptop or a mac, for ideas of pricing and spec check out this, The best video editing laptops in 2018: make your footage sing, and others like it.

I recently got an Alienware 17 inch r5.
It has 16gb ram, i7-8750, Nvidia 1070, 1700x1200 screen, and 256ssd and 1tb hdd.

I use Davinci Resolve and shoot in 2.7k, so far it has worked perfectly. It ended up being 1699$ through a Best Buy sale.
