A questions straight off the bat if I could:

Who manufactures the best quality ND filters to fit the M4P? I know what are needed but these manufacturers names I can't quantify, unlike generic photography retail which I understand.

This is a quality over quantity thing. I need to cherry pick for my needs rather than purchasing a glass cabinet.

Thanks in advance.

There are many companies making filters for the Mini 4 Pro, and it's unlikely you'll find one definitive "best" brand. In most cases, the differences in quality between top brands are minimal, even if you were to compare them side by side.

The choice also depends on which specific filters you need, as the range available is quite extensive.

For a straightforward option, the OEM DJI filters are a reliable choice. DJI has been producing high-quality filters for years.

If you're interested in exploring alternatives, consider brands like Freewell, K&F, NEEWER, and SKYREAT, all of which have a solid reputation for making quality filters for DJI drones. You can find these brands here on Amazon. Shopping on Amazon will also give you the opportunity to check out reviews from people who have purchased and used the products.

I’ve always used Freewell. No colour casts and they fit perfect on my Mini : Pro and Air 3s.

The brands msinger lists are all about the same price.

Freewells come with a limited lifetime warranty, but applies to the original filter owner only and I find their customer service to be excellent.

Thanks for taking the time guys. Your opinions had me concentrate more research during which I found DroneSafe is located a short drive from here so will be popping in there tomorrow. Will update as I won't be coming home empty handed.

I appreciate and value your direct opinions. Thanks again.

Ah yes, in Chichester.

PolarPro are also a top brand, but very expensive. The jury is out as to whether they are that much better to warrant the difference in price.

I went with the Freeway all day set for starters.
I used to make my own ND filters for 35mm-FF through digital. From welding mask glass mainly although some 600 year old stained window glass filters produced welcome artifacts. Stills only. I won't be attempting this with such small lenses on these minis.

Good choice! Never had any issues with mine
