If I was a betting person, I would say the new RC with the built in screen is what is being talked about . It’s pricey and don’t work with the old birds .

Do you think these YT promoters get the unit for free if they can demonstrate enough influence over others making a purchase?
Their behaviors have become increasingly suspect, which makes me wonder.

Yes. That's why they were given those units

Some of them have to return the units. Not necessarily DJI. I remember a video about Epson Moverio BT-300FPV that had made enough rounds that parts were missing when reviewed by one YT promoter.
