I went with white for 2 reasons. First, in hot climates and direct sunlight it would theoretically stay the coolest. Second, it is a matte finish and should wear better. It’s easy enough to pick out in the sky but red or black might be easier to see against certain backgrounds.
I also left the clear stickers on where the props contact the top of the body when folded - some have reported wear there. Any similar material could be used to accomplish the same, but I just cut the tabs off the factory stickers and so far it has been perfect.
