Cable connection from Mavic2 pro to CrystalSky and without wi-fi

What ports are the proper connection of cable from the Mavic2 Pro to the CrystalSky? And is Wi-Fi necessary in that configuration. Since using the CrystalSky instead of my cell phone I continually see the disconnected warning. Thanks..........

Remove the short standard micro-USB cable on the left side on the controller.
Use a USB-A to USB-C cable (yes, you can use the flat one that comes with the M2P) and connect it to the USB-A port on the controller and to the USB-C port in the bottom of the CrystalSky.
No wifi is needed for the connection. You can disable the wifi on the CrystalSky when you fly to minimize the risk for interference.
