Calibration

@Rchawks i better not show this post to the wife her name is Susan she might get the wrong idea , the main criteria for doing the IMU calibration is a perfectly flat none metallic surface
so as long as what the lazy susan is standing on then you should be ok, if you are referring to a compass calibration it would need to be well away from anything made of metal and preferably outside

The reason I considered this was of the consistent flat spin it would give for one or two cycles for the calibration. I was curious.
 
The one I have has a metal bearing plate under it.
So mine wouldn’t work for that.
 
Yeah, mine probably does as well. Just a thought.
