dont wish to be rude ,but surely you would have been told that during your training, if you are part 107
thanks for your reply good luck with your endeavours, take carei am just starting the 107 process and I have read conflicting information. Sorry I am a licensed private pilot.
The 107 exam has strong emphasis on Airspace. 107 Pilot rules are highly similar to private pilot's. You won't need a medical. You could probably pass without studying. An hour or two learning rules specific to drone pilots and you are likely to ace the test.I am a licensed private pilot.
Just like an airline pilot can fly his sport plane, you can as well fly your drone recreationally...you might be held to a higher standard in the event of a mishap or regulations violation...be smart fly safei am just starting the 107 process and I have read conflicting information. Sorry I am a licensed private pilot.
The ones found in the FAA part 107 study guide I would guessThere’s a rule book? After reading some postings from past, what rules!
Where would you test? Thought they were all closed right now.
I would say NO.

The only difference is the a rec pilot cannot "furtherance of a business". Rec pilots are still required to follow all other rules/regulations.Can a part 107 pilot fly for fun and use the rec rules? Thanks
