Can my Mavic Pro controller work on a Mavic 2. Pro, or Zoom?

Recently lost my Mavic Pro to a very tall pine tree. Don't ask. I'll just say that I will be happy to have rear view protection in my next one.
Still haven't decided on Pro or Zoom. I had bought a new FS Controller, but had not yet hooked it up. Do I need the whole pack, or can I just go for a Drone, alone?

Would love your input on which M2 also, if you care to opine.

HELP! following on from this, i have a Mavic 2 but it came without a remote, I've bought a Mavic Pro remote but cannot seem to sync the two together, is it possible? Or do i need to get the correct Mavic 2 remote? Thanks in advance.

MP remotes will not work with M2 ACs or vice versa.
Not will an Air AC or RC work with them.

I'm not sure if an SC will work with an MP.

MP = Mavic Pro, the first version. In context, this includes Mavic Pro Platinum (MPP) which is the same as original Mavic, but better props and motor controller (ESC)
M2 = Mavic 2: Pro or Zoom
AC = Aircraft.
RC = Remote Control
SC = Smart Controller. The all in one remote controller with smart device, app and screen.
Bonus: CS = Crystal Sky. A high brightness smart device that DJI came out with a few years ago. Basically a special purpose tablet.
