Can someone recommend good settingsh for video with no post-production?

Id like to have decent looking footage without having to do anything in post-production. I’ve tried leaving everything on Auto mode and just use the exposure wheel to adjust the EV, but the video looks like crap to me. Can anyone recommend or share the settings they use for nice looking video without doing anything in post? Thanks!

The main issues are lighting changes, clouds change, morning sun, darkness, the list goes on. (Exposure triangle) There is NO setting that "fits all" environments, except auto. So you may need to accept auto or change in post. If there is a number that I/we can use all the time, please share it

I like the way d-cinelike color profile looks. But is D-cinelike only supposed to be used if you are doing post-production?
