To all firmware modders and parameter patchers out there
As you might well know there is the so called Sport+ mode.
And of course you are free to pitch the parameters further up. So if you pitch them up you might get to a stability boundary allowing for severe control "mistakes" such as flips and loops.
Have you ever managed to accidentally or deliberately do a looping or roll, or flip with your bird?
There are videos on youtube that try make me believe that if you aren't carefully while in tuned Sport mode the Mavic might flip over followed by itself correcting its attitude again.
Note that I know this perfectly be feasible in Manual mode which however, is NOT what I'm asking about.
Is there any thoughts and physical reasoning as to what extent the still existing attitude control would allow such a mistake to happen? After all it is even self positioning yet!
Please note that this is the wrong place to discuss aircraft strain and longevity issues.
P.S. There are tons of fake videos on youtube that are easily detected because:
- Blades don't look like a Mavic prop
- Camera view is not Mavic's
- Doesn't make the typical well-known Mavic noise
There are however videos that do not look like fake from first watch.
E.g.
(Not Sport+ but Manual?)
