Hello all,
I have a inspire 2 controller lying around. Does anyone know if it's possible to use it with the M2ED because I like it over the remote that comes with the drone...

No, won't work.
M2ED is using Ocusync 2 as it's transmission protocol, whereas the Inspire 2 is using Lightbridge 2.

Since DJI integrated everything each model has come with its own remote that also only works with that model.

I love my Dual, but hatevthe remote controller..poor cable connection between phone and controller has meant repeated black screen failures...scary when you're only learning..and you're 100m out over the Irish Sea..!
The cable seems such a weak link in an otherwise very impressive device..

What phone are you using?
Are you using the side USB-mini connector or the bottom USB-A connector?

A Samsung S8 with the connector that came with the pack..i find Its just a bit too long, and ends up pushing up on the controller connection...most irritating..!!

that came with the pack
Do not use the cables which came with the pack.
Unplug the side connector and use a high quality USB-A cable and connect it to the bottom center port of the RC and the other end to the phone.
