Cannot pair Mavic Mini with controller

Hi,
I just purchased a Mavic Mini and was so excited to fly it until I couldn’t pair the controller with the drone at all... In the manual it said the drone should have been paired with the controller before delivery but apparently mine are not! I tried to follow the instruction shown in DJI fly app, including holding power button of the drone for more than 4sec until beep and Pair with controller but nothing happens, they never been paired with each other..

Does any of you guys encounter the same problem or know how to solve it? Any clue to reset the drone to factory and start again? Appreciate much!

To put the AC in pairing mode, it must be on. Then press for about 5 seconds. Sometimes it doesn't catch into the mode first time. Wait a couple seconds then try the 5 second press again. Binding will take several sections.

As you said it should be paired already from the factory so you may have a bad RC or AC.
