I searched but didn't see this specific topic. I still fly an old mavic 2 pro, bought a new Samsung Tab A9 and went to download GO 4 App on it at DJI Go 4 - Download Center - DJI United States. I click from iOS to Android then download and i end up back at dji.com. Temporarily I can still use my Samsung Tab A7, I only upgraded to Tab A9 for the RAM. Is this new? Googling I get the Mavic 2 Pro is out of support life but no software to fly it. I've heard of Litche, supposedly for more advanced users, but I've never tried it. Are there other places to DL GO 4 App or what's replacing it?

Thanks for any advice

This is odd, the above results are using my Samsung Tab A9. When try using my Samsung S22U phone, clicking on Download takes me to Google Playstore, DJI-Store - Try Virtual Flight. About this app says, DJI's official one-stop platform. I'll dl and see what it is but phone is too tiny to fly with.

Update: Using phone i see the Android APK file. It's not visible using a tablet. When I click on it I get a Warning: File might be harmful.

I don't know why, but DJI have this note:
Only supported for download on phones.
You can ignore that, the app works just as well on a tablet.
You can also ignore the warning about downloading ... Android will show that for any apk file.

If you can't download it with the tablet, download to the phone and then transfer the file to the tablet.

As i was DLing APK on cell phone, I asked CoPilot AI and it directed me to APKPure.com, APKGuide.online, APK Mirror, APK Installer. Hope this helps others. While at dji.com i noticed referances to mavic, mavic pro, mavic 2, but mavic 2 pro seems to be a red headed stepchild. As far as I'm concerned, it's just as good as anything else out there.

Unless you are 100% sure that an APK mirror site is safe, it should be the last resort for obtaining an APK file. It is a primary vector for Android malware and is a reason that Google will mandate all sideloaded apps be signed by a registered Android developer.

You can load the DJI Go 4 app with any browser. The QR code shown on on DJI Go 4 - Download Center - DJI United States contains this URL: DJI - Official Website, which will redirect to the current download.

Mavic 2 is a designation that covers both Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom. They are both considered to be "Mavic 2" and differ with the cameras installed.
