Can't unlock geo zones after v01.00.0500 firmware update

Today I tried flying my MM for the first time with the v01.00.0500 firmware update installed. I have the 1.1.0 version of the DJI Fly app on my Samsung Galaxy S7. When I tried to unlock Geo Zones using the controller the usual screen appeared. When I tapped the unlock button a large white window containing nothing opened. The app essentially froze. I was unable to do anything more in the app. I have previously unlocked Geo Zones without any difficulty since the v01.00.0400 firmware update. Can anyone help?

Hi, you might try taking off using the sticks of the remote by pushing them inward and down. That should trigger the same process for unlocking. If that doesn’t work I’d delete the app and reinstall.

Thanks for responding. That is what I am doing (pushing the sticks in and down). I have already uninstalled and reinstalled DJI Fly v1.1.0. Also refreshed the installation of firmware v01.00.0500 using DJI Assistant for Mavic v2.0.12 on both the drone and RC. The drone works fine outside of geo zones. But my house is located in Class D airspace.

I finally figured out the problem. I had uninstalled and reinstalled the Fly app v1.1.0. So I was required to enter my phone number again to unlock geo zones. I disabled VPN on my phone before doing so and then it worked fine to unlock geo zones. VPN has not been an issue before. I will have to take a look at that.
