Can't use device as homepoint, says weak signal ?

Turn up the volume on your mobile device device - you should hear “home point is recorded please check it on the map” just before you take off

Okay today finally both buttons worked. I just had to turn on the mavic air and wait a few minutes and then it worked.

But when i take off, i dont hear any message that says "homepoint recorded...". When i hit the take off button, it also asks me for precision take off or whatever its called. When should i use it ? sometimes i go to a park which has not much free space till i am like 20 meters high. So i am scared to try new things out there and risk because bushes etc. next to the road and the road is very thin so my drone could even land on grass and crash with the RTH function there if it wont land accurate enough. Just a few centimeters are enough and it would hit a bush or grass next to the roads so i ask before i risk something haha.

Always take off in open spaces if u can - if you are tight for time landing it is not going to be easy coming thru a small opening to land when u are panicking.
