Changing to Mavic's new owner

Hey guys....
As I swap one of my Mavic's to a friend of mine, I also like to change the registration to him.
Is there a special procedure for that?

You cannot change the registration info that's on file with DJI. The new owner will just need to install DJI GO and fly.

Your friend would have to create his own DJI account and use the Go 4 App to re activate
the Mavic in his name.
As Msinger states, Purchase registration is not transferable.

He won't be able to see your flights since they won't be synced to his DJI account.

Yeah sorry, the previous owners name appears on the software. It’s a 2nd hand Mavic 2.

I was thinking that Since this thread was from 2017 perhaps DJI has enabled the possibility to change the owners name

Ok I've sorted it now. It was the name that appeared on the Dji Go 4 app. I managed to change it, it was somewhere in the settings.
