Charging battery separately on drone

Can you charge battery by plugging charger straight into drone. I tried and couldn't see any charge lights come on Also where does micro SD go thanks

No, it is not possible.

SD Card port is covered by a flap on the side of the drone body. Have a look at the manual, you'll feel better right after! ;-)

Probably not, DJI intelligent lipo batteries would require their (or other) chargers to properly and safely charge up.
The Mini battery can be charged by USB, handy in the field, though requires large power bank, and TIME.

Love your honesty!

Please, take the time to read through the manual a couple of times initially. Then as you fly a bit more and get used to the drone, read through it again (stuff that didn't make sense initially will now make sense).

I promise you, you will enjoy your drone a whole lot more when you understand it more. Plus you will probably have it longer.
