Charging the RC

I have been charging my batteries and RC with the charging hub but today I just needed to charge the RC prior to a flight. Can you charge the controller using a phone charger cable and brick or is there a specific amount of current needed that the hub provides that a phone charger doesn't or some other reason it is not advisable to use a phone charger?

You can charge the RC with any standard USB power supply.

If you don't have one, these are a must-have IMO. You can hook a Mavic battery to it and use it as a powerbank to charge anything that takes a USB, including the controller. It's great on the road because you only fly a battery down to 20% - 25%, and with this you can use the rest to keep your RC and your phone charged ??
