China prepares to launch large drone "mothership"

My Scattergun is ready
The article says it flies so high that it can evade radar… I guess that the writer has never heard that radar is not pointed at the ground when used for air defense… We even use radar imaging for passing asteroids and satellites use radar for ground mapping and so much more.

And if I remember correctly, the French saw the swarm of F-117 Stealth Fights on their initial run into Baghdad at the start of Desert Storm on their weather radar due to the "air disturbance" caused by so many of them in one place…

Perhaps if the "Jiu Tun" were made of paper, it might evade a bit of radar, but it is not a stealth craft…

If it really flies so high, most "scatter guns" would not have the range…

And under today's political climate, I wonder if you might still get into trouble for shooting at an enemy attacking drone… L o L . . .

"China is preparing to launch a new drone mothership, the Jiu Tian, capable of deploying 100 kamikaze drones simultaneously. This development aims to significantly enhance China's air force capabilities.

The Jiu Tian, with a 25-meter wingspan, can fly for 12 hours and has a range of 7,000 kilometers. It can carry up to six tons of equipment, including surveillance technology and weapons, and is designed to operate at high altitudes."

What is the Registration fee for my Drones?...and can I travel with the Drone and controller in the same area? Must they be in plain view? Do I need a sticker for my window or when being pulled over do I put my hands out the window and yell that there's a Drone in My vehicle!!? Will there be a Drone Course offered so that I may "open carry" my Drone?
Me from 5 years from now would like to know.
At first I laughed, because I liked it and thought it was funny. But, two seconds later I just smdh, because anytime the government gets involved they f things up and we have to pay the price with loss freedoms. Look at the whole West coast and their gun laws. But, I digressed.

My mothership is a 2024 RAV4 Hybrid. Top speed hasn't been tested or determined, but it's silver in color, has a range of 600 miles, has operated at elevations up to 12,000 feet ASL, and it carries one non-suicidal (I hope) drone. The drone will be deployed tomorrow at the Vail Pass rest area on I-70 as the mothership heads to Denver. I've attached a picture taken on a previous desert deployment. For security reasons, most of the mothership is not shown.
THATS FUNNY!

I guess we know a little bit better about the drone "mothership" comments and how close to reality it is. Not exactly as described but close enough. For sure, hostile countries such as China, Iran, and N. Korea have these to some degree and likely different implementations whether it's on container ships at sea or airborne cargo planes over enemy territory or rail cars across the countryside. If not yet, by now for sure and if you don't.....well, you are way behind the curve.

But of course, the US knew about these and is fully aware of the "mothership drone" concept when we experienced swarms of unidentified drones over New Jersey late last year and officials speaking out of turn about classified details. Understandable why we declined to speak openly about it or failed to acknowledge it else show our hand about what we know of our enemy's capabilities as well as operations being currently planned by our allies.

Car-sized drones meaning not tiny like a Mavic but not big like a 737. These are literally like small cars. I guess we know how dozens are launched from a ship. You can be sure Turkey is selling as many of these drones as fast as they can make them to *whomever* will pay.
