Compass calibration after updates

Guys. I kid you all not I just spent 5 hours trying to set up my mavic pro to my new phone. S8+

All was fine on my s5.

Now I'm almost there but I need to ask 1 thing. And I'm running low on the will to keep my mavic and s8 after the truma ive been threw to set up

Ok here is my question. Compass calibration. I cannot do it anymore button is unresponsive just says normal. App does not request I do a compass calibration I am just in the habit of doing this every time before I fly.

And now I cannot I am uncomfortable flying so for now I am grounded

Please help

Here are my fw specs (Just updates today)

App 4.1.4
Version 01.03.0900
Remote control 01.03.0900
Aircraft database 01.00 01.04
App data same


What am I missing?

If it's not telling you to calibrate why then?
Fire up drone Rc etc. look at the radar and turn drone around check its heading.
You can also go into settings and check the compasses values.
If all in green then all good.
There is no need to calibrate unless told by the app to.

Thanks for reply. Just used to doing it. So now I'm thinking this new fw update has removed the option for us to do it on demand rather than waiting for the software to demand it

Not sure the calibrate button is always there but if the Compass says normal then don't worry.
I update everything with no problems.

You can also calibrate the compass from the following section of DJI GO:
