yes I can see that may work but I suppose it depends on the magnet size that may be need?

I would imagine that the size plays a big role. I can't find mine right now (was going to shoot a photo), but its probably 2" long X 1" wide and about 1/2" thick. It worked perfectly for my P2. Haven't had a reason to use it on the Mavic yet.

yes I am thinking it does. hum hard to say what size is need for the mavic
