Connecting iPhone 6S Plus directly to Spark

Wanting to connect mobile to Spark, have the Spark SSID and password from Assistant 2. have tried these in all variations of network conx, i.e., WEP, WPA, etc. NOTHING WORKS.
AC turned on, etc.
Anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong.??
