Hi, It's been a while since I posted, but I've developed some controller issues for both my Mavic 2 Pro and Zoom drones. Both of the controllers are the originals and have a lot of flights on them, but suddenly I have been having pairing issues between the controller and the drones. No matter what I do, I can't get them to connect any longer. I know the binding procedure by heart and have updated all software to the latest, but still no luck getting the controller and drones to talk to each other no matter which of the two controllers I try to pair with either drone. I've tried different cables too. The Go4 software does not see the drone. I've also noticed that the battery life on both controllers seems to be MUCH shorter than in the past. Could the dying batteries be the culprit? Can I open the controllers and replace them? Do I need to buy a new controller from eBay? I hate to have to take these drones out of service as they have been rock solid until this issue started. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

You CAN replace the batteries in these. You can find them on eBay, a little cheaper on aliexpress, all of them being several weeks of shipping to come from China.

I don't know if it's causing your linking issue, which could happen if they start outputting lower voltage. Google says they do: "Yes, Li-Polymer batteries tend to produce lower voltage as they age."

However, even if they don't, you still need to replace the batteries, eh?
