Copenhagen Airport Shut Down by Mystery Drones.

Yup, drones, when misused, can sure create havoc, but when used for good, they are invaluable! BTW, I'm pretty sure Charlie Kirk's assassination could have been prevented if there had been drones surveying the area.

Nobody has so far confirmed it was drones.
The comapny Copenhagen Airtaxi have confirmed that they were doing trianing flights in that area at the time of the observations. The used a small aircraft Socata TB-20 Trinidad, registration number OY-CDT, and confirmes that the light pattern as seen on the videos is the same as on their plane.
According to data from Flightradar and ADSB Exchange, the school aircraft flew below 400 feet as part of its training round. In total, the aircraft carried out two passes over the airport with about three minutes in between, in the evening of September 22.
This information is from the Norwegain net magazine dronemag.no , who has spoken with Copenhagen Airtaxi. This magazine is published by UAS Norway.

Actually, just looking more closely at the lights on the "drone" that was seen flying over the airport, The lights on it look a lot more like the navigation lights on a GA (general aviation) training aircraft than the lights on a drone. Solid green with red flashing from my experience in aviation as an aircraft pilot is that this is a light aero plane using the normal "under own navigation" light signal.
The only thing that's confusing is usually GA aircraft within "visual" of an airport are not navigating by themselves, they are generally under ATC vectoring.

Obviously Copenhagen airport has advance drone detection systems, but why have they not released information about what these systems and radars have seen?
Oslo Airport was also closed a few days ago, because several people saw what they beleived were drones. The police however, said that we can not conclude that it was drones, as it was only visual detection. And it is well known that this airport has some of the best drone detection systems available.

I guess it's time for the good old "how to identify a drone" again:

The drones they are detecting are not consumer quad copters but military style long endurance, possibly military drones

Its not a ‘ban hammer’. Its for 5 days for security reasons. Will be a hell of a lot easier to detect and intercept non-friendlies if there are no friendlies in the airspace. A good call and an important security measure i would say, following the probing incursions this week.

Quite a bit different response in the EU how their governments handle the drone situation as opposed to the US:
