Crashed Mavic Pro - advice needed

Can anyone advise on the following:

- my drone crashed Into an obstacle (rock face) out of sight and fell maybe 50-100 feet, nd has suffered damage to the casing, props, camera and pretty much looks ‘totalled’. Are they repairable economically?

-should it have crashed? I lost contact but assume the drone will always avoid obstacles?
