Thought someone might be interested in this solution.
I just recently started flying and my main purpose, so far, is to shoot myself going downhill on skis in remote places. Therefore I needed a solution of storing the RC in a safe place while skiing, but also be able to get to it fast if something is happening.
The easy access is also valuable when regrouping or changing the scene.
So, here’s what I did...
A reworked Lowepro Droneguard CS 150
Btw, I’ve named the bag Remote CoverUp 150X

So, here’s what I did...
A reworked Lowepro Droneguard CS 150
- I removed all padding and interior
- I found that the long center padding fitted perfectly for an RC pocket inside the cover
- Two straps on each side to prevent the cover to flip over
- A velcro from left to right in the cover to fixate the phone bracket - you tie down the bracket before attaching the phone
- New padding for the drone, the RC, and one extra battery
- On the backside, I mounted some straps to be able to carry it on the chest
Btw, I’ve named the bag Remote CoverUp 150X
